Meet Your Captain
It’s in his blood. Passed down from father to son.
Captain Tino grew up learning the Gulf alongside his father, Captain Gus, mastering the old-school fishing techniques and traditions that built Charter Boat Shark’s reputation.
As a longtime Sarasota offshore fishing charter captain, he doesn’t rely on one secret spot.
He’s built a lifetime of numbers and knows exactly when to fish each one and when to let it grow.
He fishes with the mindset of a farmer, not a harvester.
You don’t plow the same field daily.
You don’t harvest immature crops.
You protect your seed stock.
You think in seasons, not Saturdays.
That code guides every deep sea fishing charter, rotating structure, resting reefs, and protecting breeder fish so the fishery stays strong for generations.
He fishes for the thrill.
He fishes for the table.
Take what you eat. Release the rest.
Because respect for Sarasota’s Gulf waters never goes out of style.
That’s how reefs stay healthy.
That’s how families come back.
That’s how you build a 30+ year reputation on the Gulf.
